まだ間に合います!【Zoom配信】6/30)Yoga+Mindfulness meditation

July's Special Workshops!
Online Mantra and Chanting Workshop with Sarah Cutfield
July 7 (Sun), 10:00–12:00
Format: Zoom
For anyone wanting to learn and experience more about mantra and chanting!
Explore the Sanskrit words used in yoga, their meanings and pronunciation, then chant aloud.
What is Sanskrit? What is a mantra? Why are mantra and chanting used, and how can you bring them into yoga classes and meditation?
Through practice, experience their meaning and possible influence on everyday life.
Sarah Cutfield, E-RYT 500 and an advanced Jivamukti teacher, leads the workshop. As a Semperviva Yoga teacher trainer in Vancouver, she has taught mantra and mythology, physical assisting, Vinyasa training, and instructor development.
She also holds a master's degree in storytelling / oral literature from the University of Chester, UK. This is a rare opportunity to learn from a specialist in yoga and language.
Reservations:
Online Yoga in English — Simple Yoga English Workshop with Maiko Kurata
For people who love English and yoga!
Learn simple English used in classes so you can attend or teach in English.
Step 1: experience communication and ways of thinking in English through lectures and practice.
Step 2: learn body parts and movement words through your body, then experience an English class.
“Inhale? Exhale?” “Where is the shin?” “What does hinge mean?”
Knowing these words transforms what once passed by as sound into understandable language.
Class expressions repeat often, so you can learn naturally while moving.
Rather than translating from Japanese, learn the English expression together with the movement from the start.
Maiko has spent over ten years supporting training and Japanese trainees as a Semperviva teacher-training trainer in Vancouver.
Recommended if you love yoga and English, want overseas workshops or training, or want to teach yoga in English.

Still time to join! June 30: Yoga + Mindfulness Meditation with Yuko Imai [Zoom]
Mindfulness means being aware of what you are doing here and now: knowing who you are, where you are, and what you are doing.
When eating, walking, or listening to someone, are you doing so mindfully?
The body is always here and now, but the mind is often caught in thought. It is as though mind and body are in different places, and we miss what is before us or see it through our own colored lenses.
Yoga and meditation bring body and mind into the present and help us experience things as they are.
Meditation is learned through the body, not only by thinking.
We begin with yoga to develop bodily awareness, then practice meditation. Questions and answers help resolve doubts so we can simply sit. Beginners are welcome.
Register using the Yoga + Mindfulness Meditation booking link in the Japanese section above.
Yuko Imai — yoga instructor and meditator

Her work supports flexible, stable minds and bodies through life's stages, and includes supervising Japanese translations of yoga books and classes for events, businesses, and schools.
She studies with mindfulness teacher David Nichtern and introduces meditation that can be incorporated into everyday life.
